"Best Black Metal/Hardcore of 2020 EOTY"
- Cvlt Legion

“Best of 2020”
- Forever Steel

"The most European sounding band from Kentucky that I’ve ever heard.
Black metal with mad riffs and good production. Elements of death and classic metal. A little thrashy and weird. Real good.Just gets better with every listen."
- The Lurking Transmission

“It often takes a band a few albums to fulfill their potential, but this is not the case here. This is a very accomplished release with great musicianship, song dynamics and delivery throughout. There is an intensity and urgency from start to finish that reels you in and just leaves you wanting more.”
9/10
- Powerplay Magazine, UK

“Ove Tenebrae is recommended for anyone into their thrash-edged black metal. An accomplished and thoroughly enjoyable listen.”
- Wonderbox Metal

“Ove Tenebrae” has been pulled from the murky depths of imagination. Resisting atmospherics in place of barbaric, precise worship at the altar of riffs, this is a dynamic and absorbing affair that leaves more than its mark on your withered skin. This leaves scars – scars that will remain until the darkest of days are upon us. “
Great! 9/10
- Cvlt Legion

“Ove Tenebrae” is a production I think I’d describe as something of a thinking man’s black metal album, or at least an album that is best suited for those who immerse themselves on a more total level when listening to music. The nuances are often subtle, and if you listen with half an ear many will fly by without being noticed. And without registering those nuances this album probably won’t appeal all that well. But if you like black metal, know you are fond of giving an album your full attention and in addition enjoy bands that use subtle details rather than stark dramatic effects in their compositions, then chances are good that “Ove Tenebrae” is an album you’ll enjoy rather well." 85/100
- House of Prog (Norway)

"Finally got to listen to the new Bihargam album today and it did not disappoint. Cold, black metal from Bowling Green,KY. I had the pleasure of catching them in the pre-Covid days and picked up a demo. I was glad to see a full length finally come out. Give it a listen on some of those cold winter days coming up and pick up a physical copy through their Bandcamp"
- Forever Steel

"Kentucky black metal, understand the anger."
- She Likes It Heavy Radio

“Bihargam has come quite a ways in their few years of existence since 2018. Originally a single entity known only as the ‘The Metalbaron’, the group has grown to a four piece that plays straightforward black metal with hints of rock and thrash thrown in. Think of them as an American mix of Dark Funeral meets more recent Satyricon. The tone is still raw but not quite buzz saw raw and ‘kvlt’ and the overall music presented on their second album, “Ove Tenebrae”, is rather mid paced with some thrashy speed moments, but overall a very accessible album to those who are not familiar with black metal at all.”
- Brutalism

"It can be a bit difficult to put a pin in exactly what genre any band is, especially when heavy music has been able to break off into several subsections of itself; even more so, those subsections tend to be combined with other subsections, and so on. For their new record “Ove Tenebre”, Kentucky band Bihargam call themselves a “Grim Black Metal” band, but upon listening to the record, there is apparently something else lying under the surface, and I can’t put a dang finger on it for the life of me. "
- Metal Temple

"On this recording Bihargam takes their style of black metal into more of a melodic direction as well as mixing in more thrash metal elements to take their music to another level. This is another great sounding recording from Bihargam and if you are a fan of raw and melodic black and thrash metal, you should check out this album." 8/10
